On Thursday, The Selma Christian Outreach Alliance (COA) Food Pantry is supporting those in need by providing free food.
Dallas County residents can take advantage of the opportunity at 700 JL Chestnut Blvd on Mabry St. on Thursday, Jan. 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. by showing a valid form of identification such as their driver’s license.
The pantry also requires residents to showcase a recent utility bill such as a electric, gas, water or garbage bill that’s in their name with a Dallas County address associated. The pantry also said the verification of the selected bill is only needed one time for the entire year to sign up.
“No one should go hungry,” said The Selma COA Food Pantry. “Stop by, spread the word and let us lend a hand. Together, we are building a stronger, caring community.”
The pantry is providing the food service every second and fourth Thursday of every month.
