PRATTVILLE- Prattville’s Newest T-Shirt Shop named The T-shirt Girl had its official grand opening on Saturday on South Memorial Drive.

Porsha Hall, owner and founder of the brand, The T-Shirt Girl said the shop is an expansion of the (online) t-shirt store and a place where crafters can come to buy their supplies.

Crafters can find items such as heat transfer vinyl, glitter vinyl and crafter’s heat tape inside the store.

“(The T-shirt Girl print shop) is also a place for my customers who want custom tees whether it’s for their business or their family reunions,” Hall said.

On the day of the grand opening, Hall and her employees made custom T-shirts for customers who wanted certain designs that they saw through her online store.

“My whole goal of The T-Shirt Girl brand is to inspire and motivate women through the creation of T-shirts to boss up and be who they are,” Hall said.

Hall’s idea to open an official print shop was a dream she said she always had but God wanted her to create the brand first.

“From 2015 to 2020, I worked in custom design and that’s when I realized God put it in me, that name ( The T-Shirt Girl) the year before (in 2019) and I never acted on it until May 2020,” Hall said.

May 2020 is Hall’s official date where she launched the online T-shirt brand and in April of 2022, Hall officially found a place to call home to express her creativity through her craft of T-shirts.

“Fast Forward to now, we are here and my goal for the store ( in Prattville) is to sell to crafters and to bring in business for custom tees.”

Crystal Towns, who is a long time friend of Hall and a resident of Montgomery said Hall’s store in Prattville gives off a great vibe and her work is quality .

“I love her shirts and all her shirts are different,” Towns said. “All of her T-shirts are motivational. She has a great price, great quality and all her work that she does displays an act of positivity.”

Hall said for her store, her goal is to be able to have a place where she can create custom items and be able to use her gift to help other people.

So far, Hall’s online t-shirt store has served over 7,000 people and Hall hopes that her store in Prattville has much success in the near future.

The T-shirt Girl Print Shop is located in Prattville at 963 South Memorial Drive. Hours of operation are Monday through Tuesday, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
