It’s the first few weeks back.. lectures , exams , and seminars.. A lot..

I KNOW!! But We are here to excel and succeed.. Right? Right.

The first thing to break the invisible “school year” barrier of the first few weeks is to start by drawing the line. The line between FEAR and your Faith.

I can already hear the pencil scratching the paper.. you are almost there..

That’s right ! Go ahead and throw all that doubt out , those negative thoughts about why you are here and let’s focus on the real goal: walking that graduation line with your tassel to right then flipping it to the left to conclude your biggest achievement : graduating..

Then, for those reading who say ,”Faith , I have a few more years”.. I say that preparing yourself years before is great . The earlier, the better. But , I have some tips for you too.

Now, we have a fine line cutting two halves between the paper indicating your Fear and your Faith . Question.. For you , which one is on top? When have your answer, you can move on to the next step.

Lets go in an fine tune. You may say “Fine tuning”? Yes, Fine tuning.

Fine-tune – making small adjustments to something in order to achieve the best or a desired performance.

If you chose Faith for the top , the you are sailing in the right direction. You are having Faith in God that through all things you will succeed and you are having Faith in yourself that through all obstacles, you will jump over the huddle and keep this educational journey going. Now , if FEAR is on the top.. hold on, don’t cheat. Let’s be honest.. you are sailing more away from your goals , your dreams and the journey that God has for you.

Before we continue , scratch something . You are not fine-tuning something, you are fine-tuning little steps in your life to make your goals and dreams come to life. Remember that .

Now, the second part of the definition is where most of the work comes in. Here’s the second part : in order to achieve the best or a desired performance. Hold on, let’s scratch “desired” too. Desired gone.

As college students or if you are an much older adult with a 9 to 5 job reading this, we always should strive for the best. We are over-achievers , hard workers with dreams and goals that we are seeking after.

Another thing to remember, your attitude determines your altitude.

Finally , step two: sticking with your schedule and rolling with the punches when it gets tough.

It’s true , you have to hang in there when you can’t see the rest of the road , even in the beginning. So , the tip here is to stay focused . Plan early and to get as much rest as you need to stay woke in class. Take notes and don’t be afraid to ask the teacher to repeat anything he or she said that you didn’t get . Get coffee and be sure to eat breakfast and dress well always because you never know who’s watching.
