Typically, in today’s society, everybody, I mean EVERYBODY with the imitation of quotation marks, care about their appearances whether it’s in the workplace or just standing in front of their bathroom mirror after an hour and and a half has passed contemplating whether we are good enough. We are all frequently stuck thinking nuanced opinions about ourselves just to walk out the door in the morning, noon or night.
Am I right? But, the million dollar question is why?
Why do we take our hair, clothes, or our genetic makeup and twist it into so much more than what it is? Your hair are just strands that can be combed or brushed, your clothes define your personal wardrobe within five to six increments of your closet, and your genetic makeup tells who you are by every pimple, scar or wrinkle. We are not defined by color.
Every person has potential, worth and dreams. Work hard and you can acheive any goal, work with any corporation.
At this point, you may say hmmm, I don’t know but I want to be perfect, stand out for my employers, make myself more appealing to a certain audience to level up corporately or personally but little have you forgotten..
You have everything you need. Your complexion is perfect enough for jobs who are looking for a diverse outlook within the company, your hair gives you a significant signature look that is the same to you but will soon be identifiable to others and your clothes only act as a representation of how well you can color-coordinate, the type of person you are, i.e. professional, laid-back and based on your chosen outfit, it either makes your opportunity or breaks it.
So, from this post , you tell me … Does your hair mean much?
